Basic Info Bio Call me Katie (I have so many nicknames, but Katie will do)! I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio did my undergraduate in Contemplative Psychology at Naropa University out in Boulder, Colorado. Now I live in beautiful Toronto, Ontario and am attending school once again. I'm pursueing my doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, which is a type of medicine that mixes western approaches with homeopathy, nutrition, hydrotherapy, chinese medicine, averyvedic medicine, and other holistic modalities. Wicked, you might say.
I've traveled to a few countries abroad, but want to travel so much more. I think my mom gave me the traveling bug (she is Italian). For a short stint I worked for Delta airlines, and could fly for free (oh glorious stand-by).
I'm a totally advid reader, which is a change for me because growing up I could not read till 3rd grade. Some of my favorite titles are: the Great Gatsby, Theif of Time, For her Own good, Fruits, The Da Vinci code, Prodigal Summer, Going Postal, Angels and Demons, Posionwood Bible, The Thirteenth Tale, The Red Tent, The Harry Potter books, Good Omens, The Sadian Women, and some I can't think of. I'm game for whatever. Any questions or anything you want to know, just ask!
